Total Environment Secures ₹175 Crore Through Green NCD Issuance
Total Environment Resorts Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the Bengaluru-based Total Environment Group, has raised ₹175 crore through the issuance of listed, rated non-convertible debentures (NCDs). The NCDs were arranged exclusively by Standard Chartered Bank, which acted as the sole arranger and green coordinator for the transaction.
Structured Green Financing
This marks the first listed green NCD issuance by an Indian real estate developer. The project has been pre-certified at the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) – Green Homes Platinum level. A second party opinion from Bureau Veritas confirmed compliance with global green-bond frameworks and Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulations.
The transaction follows the International Capital Market Association's (ICMA) Green Bond Principles and SEBI's guidelines on green debt securities, reinforcing the company's commitment to sustainability and transparency.

The funds will be used to support a new residential real estate project in Bengaluru, highlighting the developer's focus on sustainable growth and structured financing.
Total Environment Group is a Bengaluru-based real estate developer with more than 64 projects. The group primarily focuses on luxury residential developments in Bengaluru.
